Centerville Village Sewer Expansion Project – South Phase
Notice of Informational Meeting
(Hyannis, MA – April 15, 2026) The Town of Barnstable invites interested individuals to attend an informational meeting to discuss sewer design plans for the Centerville Village Sewer Expansion Project – South Phase. This project will expand sewer service south of Route 28 in Centerville, including:
- Old Stage Road, from Route 28 to Main Street, Centerville
- Main Street, Centerville, from Old Stage Road to South Main Street
- Craigville Beach Road, from South Main Street to the Centerville River Bridge
- Old Post Road, from Old Stage Road to Phinney’s Lane
- Park Avenue, from Bacon Lane to Main Street, Centerville
- Bacon Lane; Maple Avenue; and Linden Avenue.
Construction is anticipated to commence in the Fall of 2026.
The informational session will be held:
IN-PERSON on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 6:00 PM
Location: Barnstable Adult Community Center (825 Falmouth Road, Hyannis)
Staff from the Barnstable Department of Public Works will provide a presentation on the project and answer general questions from the public. For those unable to attend, the meeting will be recorded and later shared via Barnstable Government Access Video on Demand as well as posted to BarnstableWaterResources.com.
