The Town of Barnstable’s Contractor, CC Construction, has begun mobilizing equipment to the 528 Craigville Beach Road parcel, in close proximity to the intersection of Strawberry Hill Road and Craigville Beach Road, Centerville, in anticipation of the start of construction for the Strawberry Hill Road Pump Station.  Starting September 19, 2022, CC Construction will begin the installation of support of excavation measures for the construction of the station.   This phase of the work will require significant construction equipment in order to drive piles and sheeting to establish a support system for the excavation effort that will be required to install the station.  During this phase of the work, residents can expect noise and vibrations to be generated from the installation of the piles and sheeting.  This phase of the project is anticipated to last approximately two (2) weeks and will occur Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Although the work will be located outside of the traveled roadway, please slow down and use extreme caution when traveling through the project area as trucks with trailers and construction equipment will be entering and exiting the project site.
