A contractor working for the Town of Barnstable, Lawrence-Lynch Corp., is scheduled to continue upgrades to pedestrian and traffic signals, improve curb ramps and crosswalks, and resurface pavement at the following intersections:
• Main Street at Center Street (Hyannis)
• Main Street at Camp Street (Hyannis)
To facilitate this work, traffic modifications including temporary lane closures with single-lane alternating traffic, or temporary lane narrowing, are anticipated. Work will resume on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, and is expected to occur daily from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
As always, please slow down and use extreme caution when traveling through road construction areas and follow posted safety and detour signs.
