The following water quality updates have been issued for Friday, July 12, 2024:
- A Public Health Advisory has been issued at Long Pond, Marstons Mills due to large scum accumulations at the northern shore areas consisting of cyanobacteria. This waterbody will be sampled and retested next week as part of seasonal ponds and lakes water quality monitoring.
- A Pet Advisory will remain posted at Lovells Pond, Cotuit due to confirmed cyanobacteria in the scum sample. This waterbody will be sampled and retested next week as part of seasonal ponds and lakes water quality monitoring.
