As of Wednesday, July 8, 2026, the following bathing beach water quality updates have been issued:

  • The most recent water sample collected at Eugenia Fortes Beach failed, resulting in a geometric mean exceedance there. This beach will be posted closed to swimming in accordance with 105 CMR 445.000. New samples were collected and a follow-up will be provided, as soon as the laboratory results become available.
  • The most recent water sample collected at Keyes (Sea Street) Beach passed and the geometric mean has decreased. This beach will re-open to swimming. Closure signage posted there will be removed today.
