Beginning Monday, September 21, 2026, a contractor working for the Town of Barnstable, CC Construction, is scheduled to begin sewer construction on North Street in Hyannis. Work will take place 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday, weather permitting. Work is anticipated to take approximately two weeks to complete.
Traffic impacts are anticipated on North Street, Hyannis. At times, access to North Street from adjoining roadways may also be impacted. Throughout construction, residential and emergency access will be maintained. Traffic control personnel will be onsite to assist motorists. As always, please slow down and use caution when traveling through road construction areas and follow posted safety and detour signs.
