Sewer construction continues across the Town of Barnstable, with multiple road closures and traffic changes in Centerville and Osterville.
Additional projects include: intersection improvements, off-road water main upgrades, and culvert repair, all with varying impacts.

Overnight Sewer Construction & Road Closure
- A portion of Route 28, Centerville (Phinney’s Lane → Old Stage Road)
- Monday thorugh Thursday evenings
- 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM
Daytime Sewer Construction & Road Closures
- Bumps River Road, Osterville (Osterville-West Barnstable Road → Pond Street)
- Old Stage Road, Centerville (Route 28 → Great Marsh Road)
- Shootflying Hill Road, Centerville (Service Road → Great Marsh Road)
Culvert Repair & Extended Road Closure
- Hawes Avenue, Hyannis (Ocean Street → Whidden Avenue)
- This portion of road is closed 24/7
- Access to Kalmus Beach via Ocean Street
Single-Lane Alternating Traffic
- Intersection of Asa Meigs Road and Cranberry Ridge Road, Marstons Mills
- Monday – Friday
- 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Off-Road Construction (No Impact to Traffic)
- Marstons Mills Sewer Pump Station
- Mother’s Park Sewer Pump Station
- Mary Dunn Water Main Upgrades
