The Cape Cod and Islands Water Protection Fund

The Cape Cod and Islands Water Protection Fund (CCIWPF) was established by the Massachusetts Legislature in 2018 to help Cape Cod and Islands towns pay for necessary wastewater infrastructure and water quality remediation projects. Currently, the 15 Cape Cod communities are members of the fund.

Cape Cod Commission

The natural systems of Cape Cod are centered around water. The water bodies themselves, life in and around those water bodies, and the habitats that depend on surface and groundwater are all interconnected. The Cape Cod Commission supports the region-wide goal to protect and restore Cape Cod’s marine-, fresh-, and ground-water resources by providing technical assistance and water resources planning to towns and organizations throughout Cape Cod;
