The Town of Barnstable is implementing Phase 1 of a 30-year Comprehensive Wastewater Management Plan (CWMP) designed to protect the Town’s coastal waters, freshwater ponds and public drinking water resources. On Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 7:00 PM, the Town of Barnstable will be hosting a virtual informational session to discuss proposed sewer expansion in the area of Mother’s Park. This meeting will review options in regards to locating the pump station in the vicinity of Mother’s Park. The Town identified that a pump station will be needed at either 310 Main Street or in close proximity to Mother’s Park to facilitate this sewer expansion. Staff from the Barnstable Department of Public Works will be present to discuss conceptual design details for these options.
