Fair Acres Beach is re-opened to swimming. After its August 25th closure due to elevated E. Coli bacterial counts, beach re-samples were collected on a daily basis. Laboratory analyses revealed the latest sample brought the geomean to acceptable bacteria counts for swimming in compliance with 105 CMR 445.000, Minimum Standards for Bathing Beaches.
