Update:
Loop Beach is closed to swimming due to high bacterial levels discovered in two samples taken during the past two consecutive days. Bacterial levels exceeded the geometric standard established within the Massachusetts Bathing Beach Regulations, 105 CMR 445.000 .
This beach will be retested tomorrow.
