Update June 23, 2021 (4:12 p.m.)

–        Keyes Public Beach is now re-opened for swimming.  This afternoon’s sample result analysis meets the Massachusetts Bathing Beach Regulations 105 CMR 445.000

–        Pet advisories were posted this morning at Bearse Pond and at Shubaels Pond (public access area only) due to “moderate” levels of Cyanobacteria observed within samples taken from these ponds   A pet advisory also remains in effect at Lovell’s Pond.

–        Long Pond in Marstons Mills was resampled on June 21, 2021 and the results show low concentrations of Cyanobacteria resulting in a lowered tier status.  This pond is no longer under a pet advisory and the previously posted sign was removed today.
