Jul 11, 2022 | Beach Water Quality Updates, E. coli

Keyes Beach is re-opened to swimming.  After last week’s closure due to elevated Enterococci bacterial counts, beach samples were collected and analyzed over the course of the past several days.  Laboratory analyses revealed the third sample brought the geomean to acceptable bacteria counts for swimming in compliance with 105 CMR 445.000, Minimum Standards for Bathing Beaches.
