Keyes Beach remains closed to swimming. This beach was sampled during the past two consecutive days. Laboratory analyses of those samples revealed Enterococci bacteria counts were elevated, exceeding the geomean limit.
This beach must remain closed to swimming as per 105 CMR 445.00, Minimum Standards for Bathing Beaches. Please be advised that this beach may be closed for several days.
Samples will be collected this afternoon and will be analyzed at the County laboratory tomorrow afternoon.
