The Massachusetts PFAS and Your Health Study is part of a CDC study in seven states to understand PFAS health effects in adults and children. The study will begin enrolling Hyannis residents in Spring 2021.
- Participants will be asked to come to our study clinic for a blood draw and to complete a questionnaire about where they have lived, water consumption, and health history.
- The study is led by Silent Spring Institute, in collaboration with Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, Eastern Research Group, Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition, and People of Ayer Concerned about the Environment. The study is funded and coordinated by the CDC and the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry.
