Cotuit Bay Shores Beach is closed to swimming due to high bacterial counts. This beach does not meet the Massachusetts Bathing Beach Regulations, 105 CMR 445.00 and must be closed. This beach will be re-tested tomorrow.

To protect yourself and pets:
• Do not drink pond water.
• Do not swim.
• Keep pets and livestock away.
• Avoid areas with scum while boating and do not eat fish.
Call your doctor or veterinarian if you or your animals have a sudden or unexplained sickness or signs of poisoning.
