Today’s Update:

  • Eugenia Fortes Beach is closed to swimming. Water samples retrieved from this beach and analyzed during the past two consecutive days exceeded the maximum acceptable limit for enterococci bacteria; this beach does not meet the Massachusetts Bathing Beach Regulations, 105 CMR 445.000 and is  therefore closed.  Closure signage is being posted at this beach this afternoon.

Other Updated Information:

Lovell’s Pond was found to be at a reduced Cyanobacteria toxicity level today.  Signage at this pond will be changed to ‘Warning- Toxic Cyanobacteria.’
