The Town of Barnstable’s water resources are vitally important to how we as a community live, work, and play. A key step in the development of our Comprehensive Wastewater Management Plan (CWMP), is understanding how our wastewater is currently treated.

Below you will find links to a series of videos aimed at providing our community with a behind the scenes look at Barnstable’s Water Pollution Control Facility as well as transparent conversation regarding the next generation of wastewater treatment and technology.

While engaging with members of our community, we are often asked questions about the costs associated with sewer expansion and wastewater treatment, construction schedules and timing, innovative and alternative solutions, and the matter of effluent. We hope this educational video series will provide you with a better understanding of how Barnstable continues to prioritize protecting and preserving our water resources.
