Keyes Beach is re-opened to swimming. After Tuesday’s July 19th closure due to elevated Enterococci bacterial counts, a second sample was collected. Laboratory analyses revealed the re-sample brought the geomean to acceptable bacteria counts for swimming in compliance with 105 CMR 445.000, Minimum Standards for Bathing Beaches.
Pet advisories at Parker’s Pond and Lovell’s Pond will be removed within 24 hours due to decreased Cyanobacteria growth rates and biomass.
