The following water quality updates have been issued for Tuesday, July 23, 2024:

  • A Pet Advisory has been issued for Shubael Pond, Marstons Mills, due to confirmed cyanobacteria in the scum sample. This waterbody will be sampled and retested next week as part of seasonal ponds and lakes water quality monitoring.
  • Pet Advisory will remain posted at Lovells Pond, Cotuit due to confirmed cyanobacteria in the scum sample. This waterbody will be sampled and retested next week as part of seasonal ponds and lakes water quality monitoring.
  • Public Health Advisory will remain posted at Long Pond, Marstons Mills due to large scum accumulations at the northern shore areas consisting of cyanobacteria. This waterbody will be sampled and retested next week as part of seasonal ponds and lakes water quality monitoring.
